It was not until Jeff Weld of Iowa invited me to be part of a panel in DC in September, that I realized the significant role of the Triangle Coalition (www.trianglecoalition.org/).  On its website is the following description: ” Since 1985, the Triangle Coalition has advocated for the improvement of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education in the United States. Headquartered in the DC metro area, the Triangle Coalition is comprised of member organizations that represent business, education, and STEM societies nationwide. __________________
